My primary area is chemistry tutoring, as that is what my degree is in, but I have tutored for math as well. Specifically, I have experience tutoring high school math and chemistry, as well as college chemistry introductory and general chemistry. I have done both test preparation, general class assistance, and laboratory assistance. Additionally, I have been the TA for CHM 2051, honors general chemistry II, at UF for the past two years. I also have experience working with and tutoring students with autism and other disabilities. When tutoring I like to help guide students through the problem, making sure that the individual steps are understood, rather than simply overwhelming them with information or simply giving them the answer. My goal when I tutor is that the student learns and really understands the material, so that they will exceed in the subject area.
